Clients rely on us as web designers to provide appropriate and up to date advice as to how the web can best serve the purpose of their business. The ever changing world of web requires a portion of my daily routine to include research, updating my skills, and looking out for opportunities to learn from highly respected people in the Industry.Last night was one such opportunity when I had the privilege of talking and listening to Adobe Evangelist Daniel Dura. Daniel has been over from the US on a whirlwind tour of Australia and New Zealand promoting the upcoming release of Adobe Flex 3 and AIR 1.0 which have both been available in beta for some months. Daniel is one of the key people behind the development of these products which have certainly been Adobe's focus in the last 12 months.A release date hasn't been given yet, but no doubt is very soon and we will be looking to include both Flex and AIR into our range of service and skill options. The next month will see us also upgrade into the Adobe CS3 Suites and hopefully into the Mac Platform. Macs are certainly the tool of choice in this industry again.
